Have you considered running for a municipal office? Nomination Papers will be available in the Kennebunkport Clerk’s Office on Monday, March 7th, 2022. The following seats are available:
Selectman – 2 seats available, each for a 3-year term;
RSU #21 – School Board of Directors – 1 seat available for a 3-year term; and
Beach Advisory Committee – At Large Member: 1 seat available for a 3-year term.
Loreta McDonnell is the RSU 21 incumbent. Patrick Briggs and Sheila Matthews-Bull are incumbent selectmen.
The nomination papers must contain no less than 25 and no more than 100 signatures of people registered to vote in Kennebunkport.
The papers are due back in the town clerk’s office by the close of business on April 15.
Municipal elections are June 14, the same day as the state primary election.
